Peacock Pride Steamed Threadfin Recipe 午魚/馬友魚 孔雀開花 食譜
(Steam fish 蒸魚) - Treadfin 午魚 700g - Ginger slices 薑片 4 pcs - Light soy sauce 醬青 2 tbsp - Sesame oil 麻油 1 tbsp - Shaoxing wine 紹興酒 1 tbsp - Chilli cuts 紅辣椒切片 1 pcs - Carrot slices 胡蘿蔔切片
Steam 8 minutes over high heat. 大火蒸8分鐘。
Get the fish sauce. 取出魚汁。
(Fish Sauce 魚醬料) - Cooking oil 食油 - Garlic 蒜米 1 tbsp - Carrot chops 胡蘿蔔碎 - Fish juice 魚汁 - Oyster sauce 蚝油 1 tbsp - Corn flour with water to thicken 玉米粉加水勾芡
This recipe uses INDIAN THREADFIN which is also called Ngor Her in (Hokkien), known as 午魚 Wu Yu or 馬友魚 Ma You Yu in (Mandarin), Ma Yau Yu in (Cantonese). Meanwhile in Malay we called it Ikan Kurau (Malay).
